Puppy School with The Dog Sessions
Join The Dog Sessions and a small group of dog owners to make new friends and teach your puppy the skills it needs for the best start in life.
The right training will help create a harmonious home and help your new dog understand the best ways to socialise and behave.
Suitable for dogs under 16 weeks of age, Caroline hosts Puppy School in two great Eastern Suburbs locations.

An example of what to expect from this Puppy Course:
Week 1
PRACTICAL- Start socialising with your puppy through building confidence with the world around them.
- Discuss the essentials around toilet training, nipping and biting, sleeping through the night, alone time and handling
- Start on positive behaviour training helping your puppy to know what to do like “sit”, “touch” and puppies name.
Week 2
Practical- Build on week one and go over sticking points
- Learn the importance of enrichment and stimulation for puppy’s brain health
- Start training exercises including ‘drop‘, ‘leave it’ and ‘come’
- Learn how to read a dog’s body language for better communication and safety
Week 3
Practical- Your puppy will learn how to ‘stay’ and ‘give’
- Build on previous exercises with distance, duration and distraction added.
- Understand the importance of food guarding and possession prevention
- Puppy will learn the importance of impulse control and settling on their own
Week 4
Graduation- Review of all the training exercises we have learnt and when to fade treats
- Teach “on your bed” and start on “loose leash walking”
- Fun, Games and Prizes

Price: $260
Good to know:
- Course runs for 4 weeks the same day and time each week (Start date on a 4 week cycle), book with realtime availability via our dedicated booking system with Petboost.
- Preferred payment method is required to complete your booking & secure your place.
- Your payment method will be pre-authorised with a temporary hold 72 hours before the commencement of the 1st lesson.
- Only upon completion of your appointment, will your card be charged and you will receive an itemised payment receipt.
- You may cancel, or request to be moved up to 48 hours before the commencement of the 1st Lesson
- Subject to circumstances, a 100% cancellation fee applies
- For puppies 9-16 weeks of age. There are 5 sessions in total (first session is 1hr – at home introductory video) & 2-5 sessions at the puppy school.

Welcome Puppy

One On One Behavioural Training
Are you frustrated with your dog or confused about his or her behaviour?
Private training sessions with behavioural specialist Caroline Depledge can make an incredible difference to everyone’s happiness. With the right approach, you and your dog can really enjoy being best friends.
At Home Sessions
- Troubleshooting undesired behaviour and correcting with positive reinforcement training
- This session will address issues like barking at other dogs, barking when alone, anxiety, walking on lead and coming back to you at the park.
- You’ll receive tips and instructions, a plan and detailed notes so you can continue to encourage good behaviour.
- Book a one-off or a series of sessions for a happy, harmony-filled home.

Walk & Train
- Must have completed an Initial Training Session (1.5 hours & $240), to first best determine you & your dog’s needs
- We’ll hit the streets and show your dog how to act on leash and around other dogs.
- Your dog’s training can be customised based on its needs and the areas you are having difficulty in.
- Book a one-off or series of sessions and enjoy the great outdoors together.

Yappy Dogs Dog WalKing
Come home to a dog who has had a stimulating and fun walk in the park with their friends, and who is relaxed and happy to see you when you get home.

Your dog will get to know a regular walker, so he or she feels confident and comfortable.
Group Dog Walks
Dogs join a maximum of three pals for a one-hour walk and play at a safe, off-leash park.
Sessions are available mid-morning, at lunchtime and in the early afternoons.
Private Dog Walks
‘Fluffy’ will feel the love on a private walk and play session.
Choose from thirty or sixty minutes so your dog can enjoy fresh air and be active while you’re at work.
Puppy & Pet Visits
Shorten a young dog’s day with a quick drop-in visit, cuddle and play.
We’ll make sure your pet has fresh water and has some stimulation to tire them out. We can also cater to specific requests.
